GBU 2026
Organiser Tim Hughes did a grand job expertly arranging the 51 who had signed up into
17 closely matched teams to produce a close finish at the end of the three legs, with only 19 seconds separating the first two teams.
Race the Train 2026
There is a major change to the route after the A452 around the HS2 workings near Marsh Farm. Please read the route directions and look at the maps.
Handicap 2026
The first three runners home in Race 5 were Paul Alcock, making his second guest appearance, Brian Plumb, recording a PB, and Eilish Ivin, making her debut appearance this season.

Parkrun Grand Prix
The Northbrook parkrun Grand Prix is a new competition introduced into the Club’s events calendar in October 2025 intended to maintain runners’ motivation during the winter, build on the success of the summer handicap and raise awareness of the club in Coventry and the local area.
Annual General Meeting 2026
The Club’s Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 21 January, after the normal Wednesday training sessions. Further details are on the Meeting Notice page.
London Marathon 2026 Club Draw
The Club draw for the two guaranteed entries to the 2026 TCS London Marathon included 26 eligible club members, and the winners were Tim Devenport and Gemma Winch. Gemma has since relinquished her place, to be taken up by the reserve Liam Shields.
