Apologies – M. Baker (Club Secretary) T. Hughes (Membership Secretary)
Treasurer Report – Tony circulated details of the accounts. In view of the financial success of the Northbrook 10k race, we are going to recommend at the A.G.M. that we should keep the membership fees for existing members at the same level, even though the EA fee is going to increase in the new year.
Social Events – Daisy confirmed that all of the tickets have been sold for the Christmas party on 6th December at the Albany Club.
Once that is over, she will work on the Awards Evening that will take place on 28th February at the Jaguar Club.
Membership – Tim confirmed that we currently have a total of 295 members.
Health & Safety/Training – Rob confirmed that there were no training incidents in November. Collette told us about the amazing Street Harassment Run that was held at the War Memorial Park on 20th November.
Collette and Tracey Williams are currently making plans for the new year.
Events – Our teams are ready for the next league fixtures that are taking place on Saturday at South Birmingham and Cheltenham respectively.
Annual General Meeting – The room at the Jaguar Club has been booked for Wednesday 21 January. As well as being a ‘face to face’ meeting, we are also going to make it available for members to join ‘on-line’, in an effort to increase attendance.
Bob will contact Stuart Paul from West Midlands Athletics to ask for his assistance in setting it up.
We will send out a notice to the membership immediately after Christmas.
Runners of the Month – The winners were Lisa Bothwell (impressive 10 miles and 20 miles performances) and Tom Hughes (excellent cross country running).
