After several days of relentless high temperatures the rather cooler conditions on race day were a welcome relief to those assembled on the start line for the 2026 race, which was won by Ian Allen of Spa Striders in a time of 32m 28s, with William Knight (Leamington C & AC) in 2nd place and Toby Spencer (Unattached) in 3rd.

Olivia Harris (Unattached) took the 1st women’s prize in 39m 15s, with Jane Evans (Knowle & Dorridge RC) and Rhian King (Northbrook AC) taking 2nd and 3rd women’s prizes.

Sam Robbins (Kenilworth Runners) won the MU20 prize for his 37:46 finish and Isabella Carey (Unattached) won the FU20 prize in 52:41.
Freddie David (Leamington C & AC) won the MU17 prize in 36:05 and Issy Corden (Unattached) the FU17 prize in 51:02.

For Northbrook first home was ninth-placed Matthew Hathrell. Northbrook’s Rhian King came home as first Northbrook woman and was 3rd woman overall and 2nd FV35.

Knowle & Dorridge RC won both team prizes, Chris Ashford, Alex Hawkins, Jonathan Lewis and Nick Wooley for the men, and
Jane Evans, Anna Delaney and Emily Moore for the women.

Northbrook AC’s President Rob Richardson presented the winners’ prizes.
