Race Results 2022<\/h5>\n

On what was one of the hottest days of the year so far 393 athletes lined up for the start of the 18th edition of Northbrook AC’s 10k race, taking in the countryside lanes around Allesley and Corley. After the forced cancellation of the 2020 and 2021 races due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the race organisers were looking forward to welcoming back club and non-affiliated runners to this popular, quality event.<\/p>\n

The race was won by Stratford’s Ben Kruze<\/strong> in 32:46,with Luke\u00a0Morgan<\/strong> (Kenilworth Runners) 2nd and Matt Burdus-Cook<\/strong> (Stratford AC) in 3rd.<\/p>\n

Olivia Harris<\/strong> (Sutton Coldfield) took the 1st women’s prize in 40:11.<\/p>\n

From the good turnout of junior runners Cheuk Chun Ambrose Lee<\/strong> took home the MU20 prize for his 36:06 finish, and Tori Boyle<\/strong> (Northbrook) the FU20 prize in 55:46. Joseph Goodwin<\/strong> (Massey Ferguson), making his race debut in the red and white quarters, won the MU17 prize in 50:49.<\/p>\n

For Northbrook first home was Tom\u00a0Mitchell<\/strong>, Tori\u00a0Boyle<\/strong> was 1st FU20, and Debbie\u00a0Campbell<\/strong> 3rd FV55.<\/p>\n

Stratford’s<\/strong> quartet of Ben\u00a0Kruze, Matt\u00a0Burdus-Cook, Jamie\u00a0Hall and Alex\u00a0Hill won the men’s team prize, and Spa\u00a0Striders’<\/strong> trio of Jo\u00a0Fleming, Laura Peake\u00a0and Elaine\u00a0Sherwin won the team prize for the women.<\/p>\n
