NORTHBROOK ATHLETIC CLUB COMMITTEE MEETING

1. Present: B.Adams (Chairman), M.Baker (Secretary), T.French (Members Sec), B.Awcock (President), A.Critchley (Ladies Captain), A. Fodor (Social Secretary)

2. Apologies – P.Stead (Treasurer)

3. Matters From Last Meeting –

a) YHA – Rob Barry is arranging another training weekend at Dimmingsdale YH from 20/6/2008. Jerry Trill has further details.

b) First Summer Handicap at 7.15pm on 2/4/2008

4. Treasurers Report – Paul Stead is being added officially as a signatory.

5. Mens / Ladies Captain's Report – The men and ladies are competing in the relays at Sutton Park

6. Social Secretary Report – A post marathon meal is arranged for 2/5/2008.

7. Any Other Business–

a) Runner of Month – Feb 2008: Dave Halford (Draycote 35 miles run ) : Mar 2008: Mark Baker (Barry 40 miles run: bronze medal in Welsh Ultradistance Championships)

b) 10Km race – Tony French discussed progress.

c) Kit – Alix investigated costs of kit. There is interest in hoodies and other items of club kit.

d) Club Tent/Banner – a replacement tent is being arranged

e) Warks Road Race League AGM – The joining fee is subsidised this year, but we must pay £30 for hosting our 10Km race as part of the league. The mens team won again this year.

f) London Marathon Club Draw – this may be affected next year by members who cannot register online and require proof of rejection.
