NORTHBROOK ATHLETIC CLUB COMMITTEE MEETING

- Apologies – R. Awcock (President), J. Wilson (Men's Captain), A. Deavy (Ladies' Captain).
- Treasurer's Report – Tony Mackness discussed the accounts. Tony asked if Tracy Morgan could pass on money received from kit sales.
- Membership – We have 156 paid members. There are many club vests in stock. Some old stock has been sold.
- Social Secretary Report – The Annual Awards Night is booked at Jaguar for Saturday 30th January 2016.
- Mens/Ladies Captain's Report – Recent race results are on the website. The Thunder Run 24 hour relay applications for 2016 are due soon. The Sutton Park relays were run by many members. Also the Kenilworth Half Marathon and Rugby 10 miles were well attended. The XC relays are at Uttoxeter soon. John Wilson will start Myton hospice training from December.
- 10Km race – Roger Ladbury said that the 2016 race is on Sunday 10th July. We can introduce our race at a ‘Myton Challenge Night’. Chip timing is being investigated as an option.
- Runner of the Month – September – Men: Brian Hewetson –
PB's, Ladies: Jo Brown – half-marathon PB.
- Any other business –
- London Marathon Club Places – there should be information soon.
- Publicity – Sarah Booker will be contacted to see if she can help with publicity.
- Bob Awcock – the committee thanked Bob for his service as President
- AGM – needs to be booked at Jaguar in January 2016
- Jaguar Fees – are now due and should be passed to Mark Dalton
- Training Groups – there could be clashes between some of the plans for Wednesday groups e.g. same place, same session, etc
- Club Rules – New member details need to be reviewed in Rules
- Warks Road Race League AGM – 9th November – we will ask for 10Km to be included for 2016 .
- Next Meeting – Monday 2nd November 8pm.at Corinna O'Connor's residence.
